I was born there and left to attend CSU Chico at 19... have no intention of ever moving back there. I have come to love the Clear Lake area, and plan to stay here.

Redding is possibly the hottest (118+ in summer) and coldest (it snows there) place in the Sacramento Valley. Too many goons and fundamentalist knuckle dragers live up there now. The surrounding area is nice; the lakes are fun places for boaters.
