in all the discussion about mc clellan's book, I have one major question. we knew the truth of just about everything in there (at least those who had access to more than the msm) so none of his book is a surprise. the liars, thugs, thieves and murderers of this maladministration knew, and had to approve, everything that was in the book. what ELSE has been going on that is so horrible, so unimaginable, that it isn't going to see print for years, possibly decades.

they aren't denying the claims in the book, are they? what is it they don't want us to see?

They've padded the figures, making the economy appear to be fine. It will likely collapse as soon as a Dem gets in the White House, but as usual, the Democratic President will fix everything, and around the 8-year mark, people will forget how good it was under a Dem and elect another 'pub. We've been going through this cycle since Hoover, and probably since before that. But let's focus on what we do know:

1. Bush authorized torture
2. Bush knew about the threat pre-911, yet did NOTHING
3. Bush lied about Iraq and his whole premise for war was based on concocted "intelligence"

We know all this, yet most Americans are content to do nothing. I'm convinced we could find out Bush and Cheney were raping babies in the White House basement and still, no one would bat an eyelash. Americans are probably the most fucked up people on the planet, and we've been taught since birth how to be global assholes.

6. One thing they are hiding...

In my opinion, are the discussions that went on behind closed doors once it was determined that there were no WMDs to be found? How did they keep the war going? What would they say? Who was at the meeting? Rumsfeld? Rove? Cheney? Card? Bush? Condi? Mary Matalin? The whole group of them? They all conspired to lie to the American people after it was discovered there were no WMDs, would be my bet.
