On Keith Olbermann's interview with Richard Clarke
On today's broadcast Keith interviewed Richard Clarke on a story exposing Bush's lies to go to war in Iraq. Clarke suggested that the only solution for this problem of dealing with Bush and his cronies is a "Truth and Reconciliation" hearing and to "Forgive" Bush and Cheney for the lies that brought us to war.

"Forgive them"? I've got 1.2 million plus 4,100 (Iraqi dead and US dead respectively) reasons NOT to forgive that f*cking bastards!

My solution, imprisoned these assholes for life and put them in trail for war crimes and treason!

is EXACTLY how we ended up with the same players in a fucked up war.

No with the new Congressional report out it is clear the Administraion lied this country into war. That as far as I am concerned was Treason.....

ONly prosecution for High Crimes is acceptable. Let the Hague prosecute them for Crimes against humanity.

3. Other than impeachment there is probably nothing else to do with them.
And "impeachment is off the table".

10. Apparently Bush wisely removed that option by withdrawing from the
world court or something.

4. I saw it too...it was totally an example of saying something that didn't mean anything
Does ANYONE see the Monkey or Cheney or anyone else that counts standing up and saying "I lied and I apologize to the American people" or anything close to that?

Bush ain't saying he's sorry for shit.

Clarke was talking just for the sake of talking.

5. Ah...but Clarke said they'd first have to admit they lied and apologize.
And you KNOW that day is never coming.

He never said we have to forgive them if they don't ever admit they did wrong.

12. No. Letting them off the hook keeps them coming back.
The same people from Watergate did Iran/Contra and then the first Iraq war and then they came back again to do what they've been doing the past seven years. It's sickening the crimes we've let pass.
