1. Sigh... I just got an involuntary "vacation"
In other words, I got laid off last Friday.

At least I have a decent amount of savings, so I can keep going for a while as I look for work.

Funny thing is that if it weren't for that money thing, I wouldn't mind being unemployed - for the first time in a while, I feel free. It's just that in a few months, I'll be broke... But I've already talked to some recruiters, it looks like there are some decent prospects in my neck of the woods.
