BEWARE OF 'SWIFT' BOOK, OBAMA

.... ...The GOP's first salvo is a book. Already written by National Review's David Freddoso, whose playpen is politics and who's done stuff zapping Romney, the so-called meanness of Rudy, which one is the real John Kerry, etc.

Publisher, Regnery. Ships to stores, July. On shelves, August. Price, $37.95. Title, the longest in captivity: "Scorcher. The Case Against Barack Obama: The Unlikely Rise and Unexamined Agenda of the Media's Favorite Candidate."

The so-called scorching? That his politics-of-change will be liberal politics as usual. That the Rev. Wright thing reveals a deceitful nature. That his inexperience is more dangerous than any threat we have today. That as commander in chief this non-Republican is a serious threat to our national security. ....

HILLARY's unlikely tap for VP may dent the Clintons but will absolutely kill the Cuomos. See, were this to happen, David Paterson would anoint the senatorial replacement. The Cuomos hoped for Andrew. If, in fact, Paterson named himself, that would ease Andrew's run for governor without fighting Paterson in a primary. Either way, daddy Mario's little boy coulda been a big-time contenduh.

But, enter now our soon-unemployed mayor who, as even Kazakhstanians know, does not wish to go off into that vast wasteland called philanthropy. As in, Who Cares/No More TV Coverage/Gone Are the Headlinesville. So, if it ain't Washington and it ain't Manhattan, what's left is Albany. Should he enter that ring, it will be a helluva fight for Andrew. ....

2. Regnery publishing, where Pat Sajak is a member of the Board...
http://www.regnery.com/eagle_manage.html

For the past twenty years, Pat Sajak has been the host of television’s Wheel of Fortune — the number one rated program in syndicated television for twenty years running. Pat is also joining Fox News Channel as host of Pat Sajak Weekend, a one-hour celebrity and newsmaker driven talk show. Pat has three Emmys, a Peoples' Choice Award and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, attended Columbia College in Chicago, joined the Army, and served as an Armed Forces Radio announcer in Vietnam. In 1989, Pat began doing a late-night talk show on CBS. While it ran less than a year and a half, he calls it the most enjoyable 18 months of his career. It was during the run of that show that he met Lesly Brown, who became his wife on New Year's Eve of 1989. They have two children.

I always get a chuckle about that whenever Regnery comes up :)
