Border Control = the new Serfdom?
Just wondered if anyone else has thought of it this way.

Serfs belonged to the land, which belonged to the lord of the manor. As I understand, they were not free to come and go.

Now, if our corp. masters want to import thousands of workers, no problem; if they want us to spend tax dollars to erect thousand-mile long walls along borders, they can have that, too.

I don't say people should be able to move for the purpose of freeloading. But I do say, as I believe most Constitutional scholars say, there is a fundamental human right of travel.

What if they held a country like Mugabe's, and everyone just left?

What are they going to do with all the people who need to move as a result of global warming?
