The GOOP is determined to lie and distort...try to whip up a frenzy about national security and ramp up the boogiemen and usual suspects. They know most people can barely pronounce habeus corpus yet understand what that means. They can spin that "activist judges" (including on "activist" who put their manchild in power) are letting terrorists run free...hitting on a whole bunch of GOOP talking points...places Gramps and others are more comfortable talking about. It doesn't mean its so, but it opens this "escape hatch".

What's amazing is how doscile the corporate media is in allowing these lies and distortions to maintain the narrative and how little respect they give the American people to understanding what the access to a trial is and getting set free.
