Bush v Ringo, War v Peace
Sunday, July 6, George W. Bush's birthday :dunce:

Monday, July 7, Ringo Starr's birthday

Ringo Wants Peace For His Birthday

Former Beatle Ringo Starr is asking people to celebrate his birthday on Monday by giving peace a chance.

Starr is asking everyone at noon local time wherever they are to join him in making a peace sign and either saying, singing, shouting, whispering, writing or thinking, "Peace and love."

Starr will be in Chicago on Monday, where he'll lead a group in thinking peace and love by the city's Buckingham Fountain.

Other gatherings are planned for Abbey Road Studios in London; Imagine Peace Tower in Reykjavik, Iceland; Capitol Records in Los Angeles and Strawberry Fields in New York's Central Park.

Starr will be 68 on Monday.

9. My mom and husband share this day too
I remember back in 2004, mentioning to my mom it would be easy to remember which day her birthday was as it was coming - because the radio had a countdown to Ringo's birthday. (She wasn't all that impressed, but did think it funny - and missed that in the summer young teens often went for weeks not knowing the date!)

4. And I'm sure Jimmy and Rosalind Carter want peace for their wedding anniversary on Monday too!
... and not have to think about Bush being born the day before they were married in 1946!

8. Very good.
I believe that Ringo is going to be on Larry King tonight. Does anyone know if this is accurate?

10. Happy Birthday, Ritchie!
July 7 is also the birthday of: my brother, a good friend, the friend's grandmother, a different friend, her mother, & finally, a third friend's brother.

Must be something about that early November.
