Environmentally friendly electronics disposal
My employer -- a progressive-friendly political organization -- has accumulated a LOT of old electronic devices that simply do not work anymore. Old BlackBerrys, PCs, etc. Because of toxicity issues with discarded electronic devices, they want to dispose of them in an environmentally responsible way. I thought that DU might have some experience with this, and perhaps some suggestions as to specific organizations that do this. I've Googled and come up with a lot of hits, but I want it done right.

Thoughts?

2. New York City has periodic electronics disposal days at certain sites.
Check your local government website to see if your area has that. Or contact your most local representative to recommend setting one up.
