An interesting little factoid about Bush the brush clearer
Just heard this the other day and thought it was interesting enough to share. One of my friends who has been a regular at Camp Casey (and has spent a lot more time there than I have) said that brush Bush likes to clear is trucked in. He saw it a couple times being brought in on a huge truck that was almost too big for the road from town to the ranch. My friend was in town when the truck stopped for gas and he talked to the driver.

He also said he was there one Thanksgiving when he watched a truck go down the road that was full of deer. They were being brought in for a "hunt" at the ranch.

So the phony ranch (no livestock or crops are raised there) is even phonier than we thought. :)

1. Sam Greenfield once shook hands with * and says his soft milky hands
belie someone who clears bush. All of it was a Hollywood backlot.

2. We had a long conversation comparing Bush and Reagan
Both ranchers. One more real than the other. Reagan rode a horse and he swung an axe too. :)

4. There is absolutely nothing genuine about prez shit-for-brains except his total lack of any sense of
shame.

7. Bringing in deer is absolute BS! When I lived in Tx. all you had to do
was put some feed out for them and they'd be THERE! We even had to search for plants for our lawn/garden that the deer didn't like or they'd be GONE in no time.

8. I know but it sure makes sense, doesn't it?
The fake cowboy rancher is just keeping up his image by bringing them in. The added benefit is the deer are a bit slower than the wild deer on the ranch because, well, they have been captured and drugged.

9. The deer that came into my yard, and those in areas where
people fed them were natural wild deer, but they weren't afraid of people like deer on most other places where we've lived. I don't know about the drugged part, but I just think it's stupid for even Shrub to BRING IN deer to his quasi ranch because it would be so easy for his "help" to just put feed out and they'd already be there!

10. Yes, but the deer that feed in people's back yard are still wild
and most remain somewhat skittish around humans. No doubt Bush had to have deer trucked in that had been hand raised by people and wouldn't run away at the sight of a human - we wouldn't want the huntin' to be too hard.

Didn't Cheney's quail "hunt" take place at some "ranch" where the birds are hand raised and have had their wings clipped?

They'd probably save some taxpayer's money if they'd just hire a Hollywood set designer.

Look, I hate Bush as much as anybody but these kinds of silly little anecdotes which obviously are manufactured don't really accomplish anything except make the authors (your friend) look like ninnies.

There are plenty of deer and there's plenty of brush on Dumbya's place...importing them wouldn't even be considered by the most adulating flunkies. Get serious. Your friend probably saw loads of hay and cattle.

edit: it's a variation on the occasional breathless post about "I just beat the shit out of a freeper!!!111!11!1!!"
products of somebody's fetid imagination and a huge need to be loved. ;-)

18. Got another Factoid-a true story!
In the early 90's, when Bush wasn't even the Gov. yet, my hubby worked at a small airport west of Austin, and saw Dubya get off a private plane with some Arabs, grinning that shit-eating grin. Now, in retrospect, it makes you wonder, was one of them OBL, and furthermore, if everything was so innocent, why land in a tucked away little pissant airport? Of course there were other questions as well!

Fredericksburg Airport. That was years ago, they may have changed the name or gone out of biz.

22. dickhead cheney's Canned Kill, and Other Hunting Excesses of the Bush Administration
Dickhead cheney shoots tame animals in Pennsylvania all the time!

Upon his arrival at the exclusive Rolling Rock Club in Ligonier Township, gamekeepers released 500 pen-raised pheasants from nets for the benefit of him and his party. In a blaze of gunfire, the group—which included legendary Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach and U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), along with major fundraisers for Republican candidates—killed at least 417 of the birds. According to one gamekeeper who spoke to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Cheney was credited with shooting more than 70 of the pen-reared fowl.

After lunch, the group shot flocks of mallard ducks, also reared in pens and shot like so many live skeet. There's been no report on the number of mallards the hunting party killed, but it's likely that hundreds fell.

He'd better have the Fake Maverick John Sidney McCain III come help him do some of their non-elitist guys' work. Then the little women can go to the kitchen and bake some plagiarized apple pie.
