How do you compete with the right wing media?
Edited on Mon Jul-28-08 04:56 AM by brettdale
Since the LA wrote that brillant item exposing the lie that the media is liberal.

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-onthemedia27-2008jul27,0,6802141.story

The right wing media has gone overboard, there must of been at least a dozen different news stories with headlines about how bad and liberal the media is

Do i search at news.google.com for "Liberal Media" and see what I mean?

Surly all these stories are in response to the LA Times item.

Are all these different papers owned by Murdock?

1. They frame themselves as liberal but portray just the opposite
The liberal media tag is only convenient to silence the critics.

If media today is liberal, I would hate to see what it would be like if they became conservative.

2. It's a Republican thing.
Initiate class warfare on behalf of the richest 10% against everybody else, then accuse people of waging class warfare if they object. Borrow and spend us deep into debt, then constantly demean 'tax and spend' Democrats who actually spend less than they do.

Same thing with the media.

3. The media is neither liberal nor conservative. They are cowered by the right
The media has a corporate mentality and a competence problem. The corporate media can't understand or articulate a liberal position anymore than a conservative one. They don't know what these positions are because they talk to the wrong people and present the news as entertainment. Their gods and idols are Matt Drudge and Rush Limbaugh. Neither of these people are conservatives. They laugh out loud at letters to the editors from progressives and cower in fear at any criticism from the right no matter how insignificant the source.
