I saw plenty of Obama stickers. Not an overwhelming number of them, but saw them here and there on a fairly consistent basis. After a while it hit me...I'm not seeing any McCain stickers. If they were out there, I missed them.

I was traveling in, around, and through OH, PA, MA, CT, NY, NH & ME, so it doesn't completely surprise me that I saw a fair number of Obama stickers. But I expected to see some McCain stickers out there.

What are you seeing in the areas you are living and or traveling?

1. Makes sense...

I remember recently that a poll showed that over half of the Obama supporters are excited about their candidate, while only 14% of McCain supporters are excited about their candidate.

2. Outside the media, that's the way it is.
Go to a conservative webiste -- the posts discussing Obama a 3-to-1 over those about McCain. They don't like McCain, and they hope he goes away. He's dull and uninteresting. So, they spend their time talking about Obama.

27. Same here.
Well, I don't drive a big rig, but I've only seen ONE McCain bumper sticker and I commute 100 miles every day. I was amazed to see it. I almost felt bad for the guy. Being the only one of your kind out there. So sad.

4. Similar experience
Drove a total of 3,500 miles from mid country to the east coast and back. Here is our breakout, kept by watchful children. Great way to keep them occupied.

McCain - 1 (not a misprint, O-N-E, one)
Paul - 5
Obama - 19!
Hillary - 1
Feingold 2004 - 1 (!)
Perot - It was on someone's "summer" car on an island we stayed on
6 "impeach Bush" - This is a catch all category, included at least 2 "1-20-2009", one "practice compassionate impeachment", one "give impeachment a chance", and a couple of the yellow and black "Impeach Bush" bumper stickers.
Bush 04 - 2
Kerry - 3
Vietnam Vets AGAINST John Kerry - 1 :eyes:

The overall results seem like a good omen for Obama and the country.

Most of McCain's supporters are too old to drive.

7. I honestly don't think they've printed them yet
I've seen one Ron Paul sticker. That's it. There have been no bumper stickers or yard signs for Senator Magoo.

I still have a sneaking suspicion he might pull out just before the convention, citing "health reasons." His performance on the stump has been downright senile and his campaign organization barely merits the name.

The GOP knows they are going to lose this one. However, they might not want to be totally humiliated, something that will happen if he continues his run.

12. Texas Explorer, I live in the DFW metro. I still see W stickers
but I have never, ever, ever seen a McSame sticker. Not one. I even spent 10 days doing a training project in my old home town of Springfield, MO and saw a few Obama stickers and several Paul yard signs but not one of anything for McSame. Interesting.

The only sticker I saw with McCain's name on it also said "Bush's third term" underneath McCain's name.

18. Here in the Indianapolis area...
I have seen zero McCain bumper stickers and maybe three with Obama. There are still plenty of Bush/Cheney eyesores around though.

Many polls show Obama with a slight edge here. I think our state will actually matter this year. Indiana hasn't gone for a Democrat for president since 1964.

29. Nor eastern Indiana
The republicans I know are voting for him because they are afraid of Obama, not becuase they like McCain. Thats not a good enough reason to get excited or buy a bumper sticker.

I just went to McCain's website and his bumper stickers are only $1. Obama's are $3. But I still haven't seen McCain bumper stickers. If he gave them away I doubt I'd still see any.

24. I have yet to see a McCain sticker. I've seen hundreds of Obama stickers.
But, you know, I'm in Portland, so that's not surprising ...

I'm taking a road trip soon and I'll be interested to see if I spot any of the elusive McCain stickers.

26. I have seen exactly 1 McCain bumper sticker
The right doesn't want him either. I'm beginning to agree with the people who say that he won't end up being the nominee, perhaps getting the mole removed yesterday is their way out, depending on how poorly McCain is doing in the polls will determine if it will be announced that it is malignant or not.

28. One yard sign
I've don't remember seeing a single McCain bumper sticker (I drive 130 miles a day round trip to work). I've seen several Obama stickers.

I've also noticed that a fairly large proportion of old Bush/Cheney stickers are all "chipped" around the edges (as if someone tried to remove them - HA).

But I have seen one McCain yard sign at a house I drive past regularly. (Actually, two yard McCain signs - one at either end of the same property.) Every time I drive past them, I contemplate stopping the car and stealing them to dispose of them properly. But that would just be wrong. And there is a house with an Obama sign right across the street to ward off the evil vibes. :applause:

30. Went to Canada last week and drove through NY, PA and OH
I'll venture to say that since the nominees have been secured, I've seen a grand total of 25 or so Obama stickers. ZERO McCains. And since the McClown stickers are apparently so rare, I would know if I saw one. I've seen none. It's eerie. The pukes who were once so proud and flippant to have that sWastika '04 on their car are more or less in hiding now.

Of course, this is what happens when your candidate has all the charisma of a 2 x 4.
