I hate to be a pessimist, but if ANY of these idiots go to jail, I'll be surprised. Pardons will be issued all around by Bush before he leaves office, and the new administration will be all too eager to put the past behind us. Everyone just wants the Bush administration to go away and become a horrible memory. Continued investigations will just keep them in the forefront. While I personally think it would be healing and cathartic for the nation to once and for all excise this right-wing conservative cancer from our society, my guess is they'll just retreat for the time being and be back in force in four years (or two in an attempt to take back Congress).

I'm 61. I'm probably going to die before we have a truly progressive and forward-looking government in this country. We are owned.
