7. Arkansan here. They had a report with the State sheriff's office while I was at lunch.

They won't say either way at the moment. But the way he spoke it sounded like they were still sending more medical help to the headquarters. I'm not sure if that means more were hurt or not. I'm working in an Arkansas newspaper office right now so if we get any new information, I'll let you know.

I'm hearing from a relative of employee at the state party that Bill Gwatney has passed. I have no reason not to doubt this individual....I wish I could.

and will just wait to learn what happened. so far i've read that the shooter walked into the headquarters, asked for him by name, then shot him several times.

i just want to know why. wonder if we will learn why.
