1. Schumer is pushing a stupid book he wrote. From my mail:

"describes the eight words that carried Bush to reelection in 2004: war in Iraq, cut taxes, no gay marriage. What are our eight words?

Chucky thinks * was reelected, and he also thinks the war did that. End of attention.

2. Schumer thinks that the Democrats should focus on families

living in suburban areas and making around $75,000.

Though these people are certainly part of the middle class and should not be ignored, it seems to me that many people with much lower revenues (like the one for which the Democrats are fighting right now on the Senate floor when they fight for a higher Minimum Wage). Apparently, Schumer has probably decided these people do not vote and therefore do not matter.

3. Which, for a guy living in Brooklyn and riding his bike is rather strange...

But I presume thet the "good guy" phase of Chuck's life is concluded for some time now. (I am told even Ed Koch and Joementum used to be decent people once upon a time...)
