"Democracy for America" wants help getting-out-the-vote.
Democracy for America was founded by Howard Dean. It is currently chaired by his brother, James H. Dean.

An email I received from DFA today.

The Democratic Convention starts today and the Obama/Biden ticket is preparing to pull out all the stops between now and Election Day.

The Democracy for America Get Out The Vote operation is swinging into full gear in every state to back them up and take Democrats up and down the ballot over the top.

Our field resources provide our boots-on-the-ground members with everything they need to run an effective local program that will deliver results for Obama and Biden in their community.

The DFA field plan isn't just targeting the top swing states. We’re taking on the 15 toughest states and adding extra resources and support to make sure every voter in every state gets out to vote in November. But we can’t do it with out your support. Contribute $50 today to make sure progressives win in all 50 states.

YOUR $50 MAKES THE DIFFERENCE! CONTRIBUTE TODAY!

In previous elections, these 15 states always got left behind. There was no voter contact materials, no resources for getting out the vote, and no money for ads. This year, the 50 State Strategy is a reality and DFA is backing up the Obama campaign to make sure no state gets left behind.

By expanding our resources in these states, we will help progressives up and down the ballot. Candidates like Andrew Rice and Scott Kleeb are fighting to take back U.S. Senate seats in Oklahoma and Nebraska, giving us a Lieberman-proof majority in 2009.

Their Republican extremist opponents are being forced to run real campaigns for the first time in decades, keeping money and resources from other traditionally competitive races. And to top it off, your support of Andrew Rice has already helped Andrew move up in the polls -- from an asterisk only a few months ago to within 9 points -- and climbing.

With DFA's training expertise, boots-on-the-ground field program, and national fundraising power, progressives are changing the electoral map forever. Together, we are proving that progressive candidates can win anywhere in America. You can put these campaigns over the top. Contribute $50 to people-power our Get Out The Vote program today!

CONTRIBUTE $50 RIGHT NOW FOR GOTV IN ALL 50 STATES!

Working together, we will win. Thank you for taking action today.
