The "HAVES" and "HAVE NOTS" is a legitimate conversation in a democracy.
No matter how much the "making money hand-over-fist" corporateers may POO-POO any facts related to the ultra-wealthy compared to the MIDDLE CLASS in this country,...the truth be known is this:

DEMOCRACY REJECTS "SUPER-POWERS" whether it be economically or politically, religious or militarily.

Our FOREFATHERS fought for a perspective of "Freedom" that DEFEATED ALL THOSE WHO SOUGHT TO OPPRESS FOR PERSONAL BENEFIT. Those who proffered a "democracy" on this nation NEVER INCLUDED THE FREEDOM TO OPPRESS OTHERS as the Republican/BushCO/neocon tyrants have forced on OUR PEOPLE, with an assumption that the American people DESERVE TO BE MANIPULATED because they are dumb and incapable.

What more evil oppression than that asserted by a handful of REAL LIFE ELITISTS figuring "the people" DESERVE to be manipulated,...for their own good? How horrible is that? As horrible as those who ruled in Iraq or North Korea, Nazi Germany or Iran?

Nope.

The difference between OUR tyrants and "theirs" is that OURS are better at oppression and,...most of all,...PROFITEERING off their own people and the peoples around the world.

They are just BETTER at oppression!!!

1. damn right
The corporate robber barons would like us to forget "To Promote The General Welfare" in the preamble to the Constitution. We should loudly remind them of that every single day. :grr:

5. It's been class warfare for years.
The "problem" is that the lower classes are starting to fight back.

7. No, it's CLASS SLAUGHTER. War is when both sides exchange blows.
When the hell was the last time the working class and poor in this country fired back? Hell, even shot and missed? It's just the rich slowly torturing the working class, mentally torturing us and laughing at us on their leather and antique furniture as they drink five-thousand year old scotches and argue about whether or not we're fully human with their liberal children who have good hearts but aren't usually willing to give up much flesh for the fight.

3. You got it. If nothing else, the system, flawed as it was/is, was set up to stop
the creation of the "have mores". From the weak central government, to the power to coin money reserved exclusively to Congress, all point to the intention to establish primacy of individual liberty over the perceived needs of the government.

6. Middle Class=Proletariat, Poor=Lower and Lumpen Proletariat
The term "middle" class exists to make you think you can slide upwards. (Of course, you can always slide downwards.) Too bad socialism "didn't work." It just meant keepin' everyone more or less in the middle (aka: down with imperialism). Hurray! We have a system that works!

You know what would REALLY "work"??? Global fascism would totally work. Global theocracy would also work. Thems are some clean runnin' systems I tell you what! Perpetual motion machines fueled by an unlimited supply of human blood and sweat.
