OMG...can you beleive Gustav is projected to hit N.O. on day the Resmug convention begins??
Edited on Wed Aug-27-08 10:24 PM by KzooDem
According to this projection from the National Hurricane Center. Gustav is projected to come ashore around 8 PM on Monday - the first day of the GOP convention. See map at: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at2+shtml/024313.shtml?5day#contents

I DO NOT WANT NEW ORLEANS TO BE HIT (or any other area for that matter) and I hope that by the grace of God it dies out or severely weakens before landfall.... BUT in your wildest dreams can you imagine a more ironic reminder of how miserably the Bush administration and the Resmuglicans failed Louisiana's gulf coast during Katrina than a hurricane hitting the same general location on the opening night of those miserable bastards' convention?

The Resmuglicans may have Rove, but by GOD, we have Mother Nature and she sure as hell must be pissed.

6. Yep, and some GOPer nutjob asked the other nutties to pray for
bad weather in Denver tomorrow night.

Be careful, you'll likely get slammed here like I was in my thread about the announcement of a potential hurricane hit. I was accusing of WANTING a hurricane, like I had any say in the matter. No, I was pointing out how the nutjobs' arrogance was slammed down on them.

18. I've heard a couple of forecasters say
...the slower and more southerly Gustav's route through the Caribbean, the further west landfall will be. Looks definitely to be SW of the forecast points right now.

Forecast track

Actual track (with windfield) updated 11 p.m.

but at least you typed a disclaimer about hoping the hurricane doesn't hit NOLA.

The God I worship doesn't punish anyone with storms...even the horrid fundies.

Big downside to being The Chosen. Envious gentiles never ask, "Chosen for WHAT, precisely?"

15. I say that Gustav should go fuck itself in the Atlantic Ocean.
I don't like the idea of a Hurricane hitting the pigs being a good thing if

there are "Collateral Damages" AKA innocent peoples being hurt.

(BTW I'm not saying this to you KzooDem.I know you don't want peoples to suffer and I understand

what you mean).
