Ferraro has become some kind of monster.
She's on Fox raving about what a great thing Palin's nomination is, how the PUMAs may vote for her blah blah. WTF is wrong with her? Palin is a pro-life, pro-intelligent design fundie dunce. Woman or not, she'll set back our society by a decade at least if she ever runs the country. Geraldine Ferraro is an idiot.

20. She is a racist so I see no reason not to point that finger
she made racist remarks against both Obama and Jessie Jackson, it's more than an isolated incident.

6. If the PUMA folks indeed feel that way.......
then Obama needs to work on fixing that. Maybe meeting with them would help.....It apparently has an impact as Mccain chose this Palin for this very reason. Let's look at the problems and not judge the origin...............This PUMA group has caused a little chaos I think.

12. I don't believe they're actually Democrats.
No reasonable Democrat would vote for a straight up pro-life, fundy values ticket. It makes no goddamn sense.

22. Oh, I beg to differ with you there...the PUMA voters are democrats.
I've watched them on interviews, saw the crowd in DC with the Rules &Bylaws and they keep the DNC Convention roll call issue in a tizzy so, to discount them is reckless in my opinion.

I believe mccain camp saw this as well and picked Palin for that key % of voters to draw to his base. Did you see the re-run on MSM where Palin actually asked the Hillary voters to come to her side.............which confirms my assessment of the VP choice.

It is a mistake for Obama not to try and embrace these voters if it's not too late. I hope I'm wrong.

than they are not and never were democrats.

25. It's an unaddressed problem for Obama
which is becoming a festering wound for us. McCain saw this as an opportunity and has begun to use it effectively. We need to put out this fire.

29. Scolding and taunting with empty rhetoric
is a powerless approach to a real problem. McCain has now propped the door open for the PUMA issue to continue....which, I thought it was a extinguished fire as of last night. OMG here we go again..........no time to get oxygen.

I say, Obama corner off a team to problem solve this ASAP. That's my take on it.

32. They act like spoiled brats
they get treated like spoiled brats. I don't see why Obama needs to validate their feelings any more than he already has. They've already gotten way more attention & kow-towing to their demands than they deserve. It's time to stop tip-toeing around & coddling these crybabies.

28. Who gives a...
rat's ass about Geraldine Ferraro?

The corporate press keeps trotting her out to comment about women in politics simply because she was a veep candidate. never mind the fact that she hasn't had a thing to offer in decades. We need to start recognizing the devastating extent to which the corporate media is influencing our nation.

Meanwhile, the Cons are so excited about Sarah Palin they are all gonna need to launder their pants!
LOL!

27. PUMA is a myth.
It is a republicker invention. Ferraro has become a conservative. She has not switched parties because she, for the moment, has more power as an anti-Democratic Democrat.

She is over. Leave her behind.
