If McCain wanted a woman VP why not Condi?
Wouldn't Condolezza Rice have portrayed him as a serious conservative etc etc? I'm no fan of Condoleeza's politics, and she's got a serious image problem regarding her shopping habits and loving looks she gives W, and nobody I think of as normal seems to be able to stomach listening to her talk, but still, she's got experience! She stares down senators the way VP's need to do, and she's a fighter. So, being a pragmatic thinker, I've got to ask why he went so far afield as a half term governor of Alaska. The place has so little sway on the lower 48. What is he thinking?

I've got to wonder is there a power sharing deal between Dems and Repbubs, and this is already decided to be Obama's year?

if the fix is in -- is he trying purposely to loose the election? Any opinions on this would be appreciated.

14. Okay.
Then why not Kay Hutchinson? People wouldn't worry so about her inexperience. If he just wanted a woman, why not her?

16. So really we have seen the complete implosion of Neo Cons
There should be some comfort for us in that. I find the garden variety old style republicans, with their pro business, anti labor, anti immigrant attitudes bad enough, but there less insidious than the neo-con idealogues. So perhaps the neo cons are finally really stripped of power and unmasked? -- I suppose it's too much to hope.

18. He needed an "outsider"
Condi is too-Washington. It actually does make sense but there were better candidates than Palin. Even my Gov. Jodi Rell would've been a better pick, imo.
