This purity BS is just that. People are biologically (there's that science stuff) driven to have sex. The only thing that can keep the teen pregnancy and STD rate down is education. And this abstinence-only crap is why we're seeing the first rise in those statistics in 15 years. If those were real men, they'd talk to their daughters AND sons about sex and reality!

...to control his daughter's body.

What if fathers held formal dances to celebrate the practice of controlling every bit of
food that their daughters ate--in order to keep them healthy?

Father's shouldn't control every meal their daughters eat, and fathers shouldn't be in the
business of declaring themselves the guardians of their daughter's vagina.

It's a total boundary violation.

It's creepy.

It's abusive.

Any man who puts so much emphasis on controlling his daughter's sexual behavior--is a red flag for me.

Any many who publicly celebrates the notion that he is the keeper of his daughter's body, is another
red flag that signals severe issues with boundaries.

Any man who designates himself as sexual gatekeeper for his daughter--teaches his daughter that she
is weak and incapable of protecting herself and making basic decisions about her body, and that she
needs an older, wiser male to make those decisions for her.

It would not surprise me in the least to learn that most of these girls are victims of father/daughter
incest.
