Caller in to Thom Hartmann, Marilyn, states that the reason
for the Palin nomination is to have another "Eagleton" (nominee drops out) after the convention so that McCain can have Lieberman without a fight at the convention.

Makes sense to me............

11. Nazi?
What type of person does an armed attack against delegates going to a party convention? Note the same did not happend to the democratic convention.

Actions speak. An armed attack against ones constitutional rights is treason. They might as well publicly declare war, and let's get this over before election time.

13. what are you talking about?
blocking a bus? You are correct..an armed attack, especially a "preemptive" one against the citizenry is treason. Perhaps you will get your wish, and our country will be destroyed so we can have a government like Saudi Arabia.

2. Yes, unless...
Could be true, but if the R's decide to line up with the party's talking points, then McCain doesn't get Lieberman.

7. People give the Republicans way too much credit.
Seems like every time they fuck up (which is very common), people say it's all part of an elaborate plan of some kind.

Trust me, the GOP would not make their party look so stupid on purpose. They'd prefer to hide the stupid, but it pokes out sometimes.

The later it happens, the more uproar it's going to cause and the better for us.

Far more than any Lieberman VP would help.

10. Doesn't matter. They're done either way.
An incredibly stupid strategy if true.

I've never seen a political party self-destruct before my eyes like this.

This would be a stupid tactic, if true.
