legislation that we dont need. Radio needs to succeed on its own laurels, and if liberal radio fails to draw in listeners, maybe we need to just try again and see if we can get it right this time. When we get a host like a Glenn beck (he does draw in listeners, whatever failings he may have) then our radio will take off. We are just behind in the game, I dislike the amount of control the FCC has been excercising lately, and don't want any government agency to have the ability to dictate what exactly a radio station plays. Right now they can set guidelines, but getting into the content itself of the stations is too much.

i was driving back on a 45 minute trip from babysitting my grandson. i turned on the radio and savage was screaming about how sarah palin should WITHDRAW IMMEDIATELY. he went on to say that he thinks McCain was strongarmed, and that he cannot imagine Palin in the oval office or a breath away from being commander in chief. he also said that McCain insulted a lot of women by picking Palin, because McCain assumed that women would vote for her because she is a woman. many callers on his show, conservative callers, agreed with him. they are outraged by Palin, and many of them said they would be voting for Barr.
Savage said he would prefer Biden over Palin as a VP because Biden has experience and Palin doesnt.
I also heard on another talk show that Dr Laura is blogging against Palin on her online blog. She doesnt think she is a good pick either.
this is all very surreal.
