The Assemblies of God National Headquarters

We have eighteen buildings covering ten city blocks. Our main building is four stories with a six-story distribution center and a four-story warehouse connected to it. Our other buildings are one or two stories. We have approximately 1,100 employees working in this ten block radius.

10. It's stunningly ugly with nothing at street level
to give it any sort of human scale.

How perfect.

8. Holy crap!! They remind me of the Jehovah's Witnesses here in Brooklyn
Thirty-three buildings located in Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO make up the Watchtower Society’s complex. Most are residences for their 3,000 members, who receive apartments and meals in exchange for their services.

15. That's in my city!
I did a bunch of LSD one night and took a swim in one of their fountains, but that was a long time ago. Seriously, the place is huge. The run all their church business and they have a book publisher, printing operation and warehouse there. This town is full of churches and we have at least three AG Bible Colleges, Evangel is the big one. I always thought they were nuts.
