This Election is NOT about Iraq, the Economy, or the Environment. It's about Palin. That's the message that the RNC and the Corporate Media have settled on.

Because, in the end, it's all about providing cover for election theft. You see, if the Election was about Issues, McCain's "victory" would not be credible. Hell, if the Election was about McCain's personality, McCain's "victory" would not be credible.

So the narrative will be: "The low, personal attacks against Sarah Palin and her family backfired."

And here's the message our Corporate Media sends out to the world: "We're a nation of morons and we keep electing moronic leaders. So if we invade your nation, it's not what you think. We meant well, but, you know, morons."

2. Heard this morning on the radio that the McCain campaign admits that
it will be about personalities, not issues.

5. is that so shocking?
In a TV age, where half the people don't even vote, where people can't even name their own senators, is it really a surprise that image holds sway? Why did Reagan win two elections? Issues or his personality? Even Bill Clinton. In 1996, don't you think Dole was just a total dunce as a candidate?

Personality always is important. Many voters vote based on their gut, i.e., who do they trust or like or respect.

Let's not pretend the typical American voter is a policy wonk carefully weighing policies.

3. Important note...
All references to lipstick between now and the election are in some way related to Grandma Palin.
