1. Now that he isn't a candidate for VP any longer.
Yeah, this is no big surprise.

3. It would be much more of a surprise if he did not
He isn't the VP nominee, so he doesn't need a beard any more.

4. Its Crist.. and yes, Its been what 2 or 3 wks since the Veep pick on the pug side.
We all knew he would.. this would be the 5th engagement he has broken now... It would just be so much easier for this man if he walked out of the closet, said "I'm gay", and then dropped the Republican brand... They don't like gay people, why be aligned with people who hate you and cannot accept you for you.. and also realize that what you do in your bedroom, does not effect the job that you are doing.. Unless you are like certain Govenors, who bring your spouse into official govt business and shouldn't be there.

12. Thanks for the spelling correction, fixed in the OP
That's what happens when you hear it on the radio and not the written page.

5. Engagement of convenience, conveniently un-arranged
I meant to mention this the other day when I realized I hadn't seen him with his "intended" for quite a while. Guess that's all over with, since Mooselini got the nod.

While Christ would never get my vote, he has been a fairly decent governor.

7. Governor of Florida
Edited on Mon Sep-15-08 10:31 AM by Mabus
Long time rumors that he is gay. He's gotten engaged several times but never gets married. He happened to get engaged when McCain was considering him for the VP slot. Now that he's been passed over there's no reason to have a beard anymore.

8. I wish I could still hear her show in the DC area
Does anyone here know where I can find her now that 3WT has dropped it's talk format and been absorbed back into WTOP?

17. 3WT still has her 9 to noon at 1500 on your AM dial
I listen to her in the mornings while I take my husband to the Metro. After Steph's show they go to O'Reilly and Beck.

At home I listen to it over the internet ktlk.com.

14. Perhaps you misheard or Steph Miller was just joking
None of the Florida media is covering this, and they certainly would not hold back on such a juicy story.
