Why would anyone rate a thread "average"?
Isn't that essentially the same as not rating it at all? :shrug:

It seemed like a valid question to me. I understand the balancing out thing, but why is there even an "average" vote option?

6. Oh, I see your point, and I agree. It's like a mediocre rating or a "so so" rating.
Why bother rating at all?

2. I *think* and I could be mistaken that
average occurs when someone's must read is balanced out with someone else's disruptive.
