Ed Rendell - lovable gasbag
He was just on Maddow's show.

She never asked him the opening question. All she did was say his name ...... and he did (seemed like) 20 minutes of stand-up political chatter.

I will also say, as partisan as he was for Clinton is how partisan he now sounds for Obama.

Ya gotta love ol' Eddie. He's a true old time politician. Sorta like the baby kissing mayor of Pennsylvania.

3. That's great news.
I mostly love Ed (I'm a Philly girl), but I never know what exactly to expect when he opens his mouth.

4. We in Pa. have mixed feelings on Rendell;
but our state is in better shape than most. He's Philly tough and gets the job done.

6. This Past Summer
Mr. Rendell was in Philly at times this summer -- as was I. We even rode the elevator a few times together -- though we didn't have any indepth political conversations.

I'm posting just to add that ED WORE "OBAMA" T-SHIRTS ALL THE TIME! Unabashedly!

I'm now remembering that all the governors met in Philly for a week -- this was well before Palin was tapped for VP.
