I said thanks...kind of shy like...I didn't know this woman.

She sensed my hesitation and asked me why

I told her that I was never sure if someone was being truly honest like they liked it or was making fun of them...

She said

"FUCK THEM" they all should be fucking shot like they used to shoot criminals!!!

Folks McNasty is TOAST

her husband said that instead of giving the "fat cats" 700 billion, they ought to give every tax payer 1 million. We could stir the economy

9. Ladies in this age group like Obama...at least the ones I've talked to.
I've been volunteering for the Obama phone bank and talked to a few older people. If they're old enough to have any memory of the Great Depression, they vote Democrat. One 90 yr old woman couldn't remember Obama's name and said, "I really like what that colored man has to say. I don't trust that John McCain." She left me momentarily speechless, but it was heartening that she wasn't NOT going to vote Obama bc of his race.

Yeah, I live in the south.

If we have "The Grannies" on our side, then we can not lose.

True Confessions: When I was a little girl, I loved the "Granny" character on the 60s sitcom "The Beverly Hillbillies." At the end of the show, the whole Clampet family would stand and wave at the camera from their Mansion's Gate ... at the time, I believed that "Granny" was waving to me. ;)

We are blessed to have enlightened senior citizens on our side.

It's this one:

Not ONE single Freeper has voiced his displeasure. In past elections, I could count on some clown at least making a comment. Not this time.

16. hee hee- sounds like my grandpa
He goes on rages about the Republican thieves for hours. He is so proud of my work for the Obama campaign -- we even got them a cool set up that works like an email account to their phone so we can send them Obama articles and Puke's getting into trouble articles.

Older people who get this ROCK. Also they remember the Depression! They aren't gonna dig this b.s. mcI'd-like-to-throw-you-against-a-wall-for-ruining-the-economy-John-Mc-Caint is pullling now.

There isn't enough Xanax for another Puke admin.

18. that is so true
my grandma has passed, but she hated St. Ronnie and said FDR was the only president ever worth a "chit"

when she passed, we had to go through her things. We found money rolled up in her socks and undies. If I remember there was more than 5 thousand dollars in her dresser it seemed like each pair of socks or bra had money rolled up in it. I thought it was weird, but she was a young mom during the depression so that feeling probably never left her

20. I remember the Depression. There is good in everything,
however, people shared and were very supportive of others. At least where we lived in Alaska.

17. Wore mine to Texas Roadhouse last night
Honestly expected a much stronger reaction than what I actually received. Got some dirty looks from people who honestly looked like generic rednecks, but the incredibly cute girl at the door liked it.

A lot.

I figure I came out even. ;)

A few years ago, I was working at Best Buy selling TVs. An older guy comes up and asks about them and I'm going through the isles, showing him the Plasmas, LCDs, etc. and they have a running video loop with ABC morning news. The guy says, "wow that's really clear" and then Bush comes on and he was like "Oh that guy. I hate him. Somebody should shoot him".

I'll admit, I got very uncomfortable and politics was never one of those things I wanted to talk about at work...
