Mark Thompson (on Sirius Left 146) today had a caller (sorry cannot remember his name) who was musing that Harry Reid, when he said something to the effect of "We need Senator McCain here" was setting McCain up (to look like an ill-informed ass).

Another Trifecta:

1) Palin's interview with Couric was a disaster.

2) McCain did NOTHING to further the bailout talks, except fuck 'em up.

3) Obama has come away looking STUNNINGLY more competent.

I cannot wait for the debate tonight.
