As Nicole Kidman's character, Suzanne Stone Maretto, in To Die For. If you've never seen the movie, it's based loosely on the story of Pamela Smart, the teacher who seduced a teenager to kill her husband. Suzanne is a vapid but extremely ambitious woman who aspires to be a major TV anchor. Not saying that Palin is necessarily murderous, but she is eerily like the character in other ways. I get the sense that Palin wants to be a celebrity with a lot of power. She got into politics in her 30s because she shrewdly realized that her ingenue days were well behind her and saw it as an opportunity to still become famous. I doubt she has ever had a genuine desire to improve the community and she's sure as shit no policy wonk.
