1. He's pimping his final rip-off of the Treasury of the USA...
leaving this project bankrupt like everything he has done in his life.

2. you have to remember: this is Bushspeak
when he's talking about a 'need' he's referring to his base. If you think he's making sense, you're not interpreting the context correctly, IMO.

4. His base, the haves and have more. All he's ever been concerned with.
8 long years of george catering to his base, his real base, is all he's ever done. This is just more of the same, while the rest of us get screwed over, time and again.

3. He seemed detached and unconcerned.
He didn't reassure me nor explain why a bailout for billionaires is necessary.

He could have rallied the voters and made everyone feel they were in this together, but instead he said be afraid, be very afraid of the coming crisis.

He said the stock market lost tons of money yet he didn't explain why futures are up this morning. Somehow, I'm not so afraid.

5. In an extreme example of "politics makes for strange bedfellows"
My mind is boggled thinking I'm on Bush's side. I keep second guessing myself (seriously). Then I hear Barney Frank or another with known common sense and I'm Ok.

But when I watched him talk, I just thought no one cares what he thinks anyway. Not even on this.

8. I am wondering the same thing. The only thing that asshole could
say to make me feel better is "I'm resigning..."

10. Obama agrees w/him. Pelosi agrees w/him. It's a bipartisan opinion...
that is what happens in a real crisis.
