Wow, they got us again. Those crazy guys. Boo Iraq! Ha, had you there. BOO! Patrioty stuff. Got ya again. BOO! economic collapse. Well this one is the joke that will keep on giving and giving. Our childrens children will be just cracking up over this joke.

Already the joke is showing, and they could not waste a moment telling us AFTER that all this messy financial stuff will be optimally outsourced for maximum profit. Not to India, but to private firms, who are connected to you know who.

They always learn, the republicans. Start a war, but THIS time, have no draft. Have an RTC type shitfest, but THIS time make all the management of it billable to firms that can make money off it.

We are not even in the first inning of this mess. Matter of fact we are not even in the car to the ballpark. We are asleep. Again.

Good luck, and to all you bailout devotees, this big ugly thing will have it's way with us no matter what, bailout/rescue/pixiedust not mattering one bit. We just paid to be robbed of our future.

Now back to HGTV home flipping pornography. Do not worry, right after the election we will know a little more of the big financial joke on us.

1. It's the dying gasp of the supply siders
and with any luck at all, the spectacular failure of the bailout to buy any more than a few months (some say weeks) of additional time for our topheavy, lopsided economy to lurch along should disgrace GOP economic dogma for another few decades.

However, they always come back with a new vocabulary. Likely our granchildren will suffer anew.

2. every version of the bill i read
had a provision that paulson would have carte blanche to hire whoever he wanted to to make "his" plan work. the american people's involvement is limited to paying for it. i think i'm still in shock that they got it to fly in this form. it could have and should have been done so much better, so much more equitably, and without the involvement of the very same FUCKS who caused the crisis in the first place.

3. Same here, I noticed that- and kept sticking on it, every time through.
It really makes me wanna puke. I feel like I've been gut-punched.
