2. And notice that Bill Maher's movie, Religulous
Was just 300,000 behind it, and it was on less than a third of the screens Carol was on.

23. Nope. It was at Tempe Marketplace, a new mega-stripmall on the outskirts of town.
Mostly middle-aged crowd. I heard the showings in Scottsdale and West Phoenix are going gangbusters too.

Theater was quite full considering it was an afternoon showing. The movie was absolutely fantastic, especially the first half.

26. about the movie...
Yeah, this movie didn't look very good at all. Personally, I'm more of a fan of factual based documentaries than slanderous parodies.

31. Jeez, that's so lame I wonder if I should bother finishing up my reveiw...
..."'An American Carol', or 'The skewering of those stuck in 1968... by those stuck in 1978'".

The real irony is that the movie harps on what bombs Michael Malone(the Michael Moore-cut-out)'s movies are. Personally I think it's because Moore's biggest box office (Fahrenheit 9/11, from a mere documenary director) topped Zucker's personal best (Scary Movie 3), and it sticks in Zucker's craw.
