Sherri Shepherd, the religious fundamentalist who believes in the Noah's Ark story literally, just ripped into Elisabeth Hasselbeck's nonsense. And Joy just said Elisabeth listens to Sean Hannity too much.

Barbara, for once, did not defend Ms. Hasselbeck.

I'm glad they're finally exposing her for the liar that she is. When the ignorant fundamentalist calls you out, you know you have to be a special kind of dumb.

Sheri ripped into EH about "character" and McCain's dumping of his first wife. She said if EH wants to talk character then talk about Mccain's character too. All EH could do was to look down her nose at Sheri and say, "Relax, relax, relax..."
EH gets all emotional and shrill when she gets on her soapbox, but when someone goes back at her with the same intensity she says they're getting "personal."
Once again, EH talked today about all of Obama's "radical connections." Joy told her to stop watching Hannity so much. Beautiful.

10. Anyone notice?

Elisabeth had nothing to say about Peter Cook cheating on Christie Brinkley because of what Sheri just said about McCain. Last year, she insisted that you could not be a good parent if you have cheated. I don't remember who she was talking about at the time, but she kept at it for DAYS. So is she saying John McCain can't be considered a good father? I would LOVE to see someone call her out on that one.

But Barbara pissed me off earlier. Here's what I said on another thread:

I haven't watched this show since a couple of months before Rosie left, but they have Sarah Silverman on, and I want to see that. Barbara was rambling about how the campaign has now gotten so dirty and how it's both of the campaign's fault. No, it isn't. The reason the Obama campaign is running ads about the Keating Five is because of the crap that McCain put out first. She didn't bother to mention that. Nor did she bother to mention that unlike what the McCain campaign is saying, what Obama's is saying is a)true and b)highly relevant to today's economic woes.
