I remember during the OJ Simpson crap they had someone who was making racist noises. NOW has long since ceased to be a mass women's liberation group and has become a narrow crust of elitists.

Just looked it up. But I need to applaud the fact that NOW President Patricia Ireland DID in fact condemn Bruce who resigned in 1996. So I have to amend my statement. NOW is of course good on most issues. I just wish the energy of the women's liberation movement was kept in the organization. Other groups, more combative, have stepped into that role. Usually they are local groups, like the old BACORR.
