Has the "Bailout" kicked in?

The stock market seems to be dropping like a rock since the bill got passed.

1. The bailout was not enough. They need more.
The tantrums will continue until they get it.

3. Bailout will never work.
We are not having a national dialogue about
what will work.

4. The bailout wasn't for Wall Street
and Wall Street is just having the correction it should have had 8 years ago.

What finally happened is that losses in the hedge funds finally dried up that unending stream of cash that has been propping it up for most of this administration. They had to bankrupt the country to funnel enough money to the rich, but by golly, they held that stock market up!

I'm just glad it's happening now instead of a year from now. Since it's now, we're likely to avoid having President Palin try to deal with the mess.

7. The bailout is not for stocks.
It's supposed to try and loosen credit.
