Have we run out of dead cat bounces?

I can see how a fairly fresh cat cadaver, thrown or dropped from a great height, might bounce.
A little.
And you might even get a bit of a bounce on the second and third attempts.

But eventually the corpse will get flaccid and mushy.
Now it's like trying to bounce a wet sponge.

Are we there yet?

1. I think even the players are getting scared

that their halfhearted attempts to pull it back up so they can make more money tomorrow are going to backfire.
