Side effect of Voter Purging: Will Election Day Become Violent?
If a large number of people are turned away at the polls and then Obama loses, well, I can easily imagine things turning ugly.

Is this why Army riot squads are being stationed in the States?

3. In 2000, I argued with a Republican poll watcher for 10 minutes before she "found" my card...
I'm a mild mannered guy with a long fuse, but I was getting pretty hot before she found it.

Imagine 10 or 20 people all experiencing this at the same time - with no "oh, here it is" outcome.

6. That would be a poll worker not a watcher (a watcher is generally from the campaign)

4. Maybe in the inner cities
After the LA riots, nothing would surprise me. I wonder if heads will be smashed with bricks like what happened to Reggie Denny?

If I lived there during such a riot, I'd stay inside and be armed to the teeth.
