AIG execs spent $440,000 at posh resort 1 WEEK AFTER BAILOUT!

"...It's despicable, but it really happened.

Just one week after taxpayers bailed out insurance giant AIG with $85 billion, the company blew nearly half a million dollars at the swanky St. Regis golf resort.

They spent $23,000 at the spa, $150,000 on meals and wine, and even treated their dogs to the $545/night "Pamper Your Pooch" package.

Congress and the Bush administration are handing out billions in taxpayer money to banks and corporations like AIG without adequate safeguards against abuse. In fact, just yesterday they decided to give the company another $37.8 billion! "

up. I had been with them about 10 years at about $1,600 a year. Fuck 'em.

On edit, for two cars, in Florida-didn't want you to think I was a bad driver.

6. So typical of AIG.
After I finished grad school in the go-go '80s and went out looking for work without much luck, one of my fellow grads in my program got a job at AIG. She said it was wonderful working there because AIG had its own manicurist and she could get a manicure at work anytime she wanted. And here I was, grateful when I found a first job that paid me $11K.
