there are lots) is they think:

(1) if something bad happens to you, it's your fault for letting it happen.

(2) if something bad happens to you, you should have known the future and not done whatever it was so that it couldn't happen.

Example of number 2: You are desperate for a job. One comes up in another city that is sucky, but hey, it's a job. You move to the other city...and a few months later get laid off. The Republican view is YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN there was going to be a layoff and not taken the job.

1. 3) If something bad happens to them, it's our fault no matter how obvious it is that it is theirs.

12. Ah...now I get it!
Their cute little voices (almost like unsure teenage girls with shyness issues) followed by machinegun fire really cracked me up.

7. Fiscal Conservatives (REAL FISCAL CONSERVATIVES) can't stand him.
Now the social conservatives...they'd suck him off for the baby Jesus in a heartbeat.

Folks like my father who read the bottom line are not amused by their continuance of folksy bullshit to appease the rubes.

5) If you do not share the same views with a rethug, they can never just agree to disagree. They have to say you're unamerican, a terrorist, a commie, or, heaven help us, a "liberal". If the gloves are off, you may even get called a "San Franciscan" liberal. Of course, that's even if they let you say anything. Usually they will talk over you, loudly.

6) Can't get get a job, make ends meet, pay your mortgage, pay for medical? Tough shit, buddy, it's your own fault. Pull up them bootstraps, boy! But a mult-million company gets all the government help ("handouts") they could ever need or want.
