CBS 5 Poll: Slight Nod To 'Yes' On Prop. 8
we need to defeat this crap. i'm so tired of seeing the lying misleading ads in support of this.

< A new CBS 5 poll shows that voters in California are slightly in favor of a ballot initiative that would outlaw same-sex marriage in the state, but the three percentage points that separate 'yes' and 'no' on the issue suggest that it could be decided by a handful of votes on election day.

The poll of 615 likely voters released Friday found that 48 percent favored Proposition 8, while 45 percent planned to vote against the measure. Seven percent said they were not yet certain.

In the three CBS 5 tracking polls taken over the past month, Proposition 8 has been fiercely fought, and effectively even all three times — with approximately half the state supporting the measure and half the state opposing it.
'No' nominally led by five points on Sept. 25, while 'yes' nominally led by five points on Oct. 6. The movement over the three polling periods is not necessarily statistically significant, the pollster cautioned.>

http://www.allaboutmormons.com/number_of_mormons.php

in 2006 about 760K mormons tho it does not say how many are voting age adults.

couldnt find the number of glbts.

of course some mormons may actually vote no on prop 8.

and some glbts may vote yes on it.

and of course many obama voters WILL vote yes on prop 8.

2. If those numbers come from the LDS church's statistics, then you can probably
figure that there are only about 1/3 that many active Mormons in California. The church's numbers include anyone who was ever baptized into their church, including many (like myself) who don't self-identify as Mormons. They also don't remove people from the rolls until they reach the age of 110, so not until long after they're dead.

i can maybe understand them voting for candidates who support it because of other issues they support them on.
