Defending the McCain campaign's automated phone calls attacking Barack Obama's judgment and character, Rep. Michele Bachmann on Friday said Obama "may have anti-American views" and called for a news media "exposé" of the views of members of Congress.
Bachmann's comments came in a 13-minute interview on MSNBC, during which she asserted that Obama has a close connection to 1960s radical William Ayers, a theme of the phone calls and recent remarks by McCain and his running mate, Sarah Palin.
"Barack Obama didn't have a mild association with Bill Ayers," Bachmann, a Republican, said. "He had a very strong association with Bill Ayers."
Later, when asked by Chris Matthews whether she believes that Obama may have anti-American views, Bachmann replied, "Absolutely. I'm very concerned that he may have anti-American views." .....(more)

Bachmann
is an idiot! She is GWB in a dress! Remember how she pawed GW after his address, well after this election she wll have more time to spend … read more idiolizing him down in TX. Time for her to get back to the family business of selling flowers.
Censure
These comments should be denounced by every American regardless of political party. Congress should censure her. She does not represent what America stands for. We don't need a Joe McCarthy circa 2008. http://www.censurebachmann.com/

Get with the times, Michelle
4 years ago people could still get by responding to tough questions with a simple smearing of the opponent and calling him/her un-American. There is backlash for everything. People are tired of the lie and smear politics of Karl Rove; they don't work anymore (though Michelle apparently doesn't know that). It's too bad, too. We could certainly use a real conservative or two to balance things out in congress, but my desire for balance has boundaries, and Michelle is way out of bounds.

I will survive the meltdown
Michelle Bachman and Sara Palin, have made my list of women I wouldn't have coffee with if I wasn't getting paid for it.
I get it. The GOP voter base is fear and ignorance stirred into a patriotic manner by baseless and inflammatory words that fundamentally support an arsonists culture since as a woman, I do not support what comes out of their mouth for free or out of the kindness of my heart.

Is Bachmann really that whacked?
I watched Bachmann on Hardball and CNN last night. WOW. What an embarrassment to Minnesota. Even though I am not in her District, I immediately went to the Tinklenberg sight and contributed. This lady is scarey and needs to go someplace other than Washington. Most of how I would describe her are not American words. They would be clans and movements and extremist factions.
