Then, we've got a female Joe McCarthy in Congress suggesting that Democratic members be investigated for being "Anti-American" and that Obama is "anti-American" - because of what some protester did when Obama was EIGHT years old. Pfffft!

NEVERMIND the ANTI-AMERICAN AIP (Alaska Independence Party) and the ANTI-AMERICAN platform and outright HATRED they espouse for the US -- and that Todd and Sarah Palin were members/associated with AND SUPPORTED them as late as May 2008. FUNNY how Miss McCarthy didn't mention THAT.

Along with our man Joe Biden, I'm SO DAMN SICK of these DIVISIVE, hateful people. They are, and those who support them are, the absolute WORST of this country. They are the slimy, dark, slithering, hate-infested underbelly of the US - they represent what is WORST about this country. Their hatred, divisiveness, and racism knows NO bounds. And THIS is the type of divisive crap that has buried this country for EIGHT YEARS and it's time it STOPPED.

I realize it WON'T - even if Obama wins, the Grand Ol Pigshit party will make his life a living HELL in any way they can as long as he's President. If he wins, they will declare his win illegitimate. Why? Well MOST of them won't outright say it, but at least part of the reason will be: BECAUSE HE'S BLACK. They'll claim "voter fraud". They'll pull every nasty hateful trick they can think of and when that doesn't work, they will spend the next 8 years obstructing Obama in every way they can. And WORSE...I won't go there - but the shouts of "kill him!" and the effigies hanging in trees do NOT give me a good feeling about it and I would put NOTHING past them and their hatred. NOTHING. I am actually scared for the Obamas and pray for their safety.

The GOP/BFEE/McGeritol/Pain are DESTROYING the economy as I write this (already have, actually) and will leave Obama that to contend with, along with the mess in Iraq and our destroyed reputation and now second-world standing worldwide, soon to be third-world if it isn't already.

The disconnect and unaccountability is inherent in the

authoritarian power structure. The followers go along with the group think out of fear and ego. "Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists" their leaders shout.

No accountability and out of their selfishness and cognitive dissonance they must project there anger onto others as the villains. Humility is not part of their nature, ego will not not let them go there.

Considering the premise of their ideology is , as Maslow puts it:

"as a sort of jungle populated by animals which either eat or are eaten." their fears are exacerbated by the threats within the hierarchy of the structure.

Each either a follower with illusions of grandeur or a control freak, positioning themselves as the structure collapses around them and projecting their anger for failure, in their selfishness and denial, onto someone other then themselves.
