Candidates may not have to declare their party, but there are tip-offs as to where their hearts lie.

The Voters Pamphlet is your friend. If a candidate believes in "property rights" and is supported by the local Real Estate and builders groups, you can bet they are Repub. If they believe in protecting the environment and are supported by the teachers and firemen, they are probably Dem.
