I do seem to recall that happening before; he had to back off with his tail between his legs. I wouldn't be the least surprised if the world leaders pass in hopes of being able to deal with a more agreeable 'leader'.

1. He's on TV now but the mike sure isn't working
unless he's muttering even more incoherently than usual.

2. I think the rest of the world forced *him* to have a summit
so they could help him clean up the economic mess he's made.

4. What was the meeting last weekend called? Wasn't that
supposed to be a meeting of the international minds to solve this crisis? Is * again a day late and a dollar short (no pun intended)?

5. Might have been the G7 (?)
I heard this one was the G8 plus a few more (possibly India and Brazil) and something about the UN General Secretary being involved.

9. I don't think so; it was thrown together hastily in response to the
financial crisis. The name doesn't matter; I'm just wondering what dimson thinks he'll accomplish.

6. Sarkozy just buried Bretton Woods live on air
and critiqued Bush's version of capitalism. His grimace was priceless. He virtually called him a lame fugg.

7. I didn't think I'd like Sarkozy..
thought he might be a neocon sympathizer at first but he seems to be serious about fixing this economic mess.

He simply has to deliver the EU message. Don't forget Bush, Berlusconi and little Napoleon were trying sabotage the EU position.

12. Let him have his soiree. It will serve as a glaring reminder of
the fruits of the last 8 years and how McCain wants more of the same.
