A voter changed his mind today. He had supported Dubya* for
a long time. But finally he had to admit that Dubya was wrong on so many things - the war, the economy, and other things, too. Mostly he wants a president who doesn't play the fear card all the time and who tackles issues that matter to the American people.

I never thought I'd see the day that he would vote for Obama. I now know I was wrong. I am happy to have his vote. And I am very happy he finally saw the light.

If this man were your next door neighbor, would you reject his vote because he had supported Dubya's war in the past? I wouldn't reject it and neither will Obama.

The man who saw the light today was Colin Powell. I'm glad to have his vote. I'm glad he is showing people that just because they had always been republicans or independents, it doesn't mean they can't change. They too can see the light. If they do, America will be a much better place.
