These two whackadoodles are just the first wave ......
.... "recall those thrilling days of yesteryear .... " (<----- sorry .... Lone Ranger quote recognizable only to old farts like me)

Back in the Clinton years, we had all manner of skinheads and neonazis, and survivalists, and separatists, and many other assorted, nuts, fruits, and flakes.

They all went underground when Bush took over.

And now they seem to be back .......

2. The difference is now days there is a much more well funded
investigative & law enforcement apparatus in place because of the "terrorist threat". Anybody suspected of getting out of line would pretty much get put away.

4. Actually that's....
"Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear"..

And yep, that's just where we are headed.

What's coming is going to make the Clinton years look like a golden age of peace and calm.

I ran the battery flat at least twice in my parent's 1950 Buick Roadmaster listening to The Lone Ranger (it was the only radio we had that would pick up the station after nightfall) :)

8. I don't know about the Olds..
But the Roadmaster had a straight 8 that probably weighed more than an entire SmartCar does today.. And a Dynaflow transmission (which started out life in an M-18 Hellcat tank destroyer, the fastest tracked armored fighting vehicle of WWII).

Smoooooooth doesn't begin to describe it.

13. In honor of my grandpa, the 1950 Buick Roadmaster:
Grandpa was a Buick and Cadillac salesman in Birmingham from around 1930 until 1960. He had a brand new 'demonstrator', loaded, every year.

6. I've been saying for some time:
Abortion clinics, gay bars and federal buildings should double their security in the event of a Dem win.
