After a Congress dominated by republicans until 2006, and an executive branch for the last 8 years

looking at what they have done to our country, does anyone really believe this BS?

1. It's been a talking point for all his surrogates today - they have nothing else.

3. " does anyone really believe this BS?" Apparently, somewhere around 23%.
Right up there with the percentage of Americans who truly believe that extraterrestials have landed on Earth, assumed human form, and are serving in the US Congress.

4. I don't think so
People might not know history, but they do know how the GOP made a royal mess of things and know that the Dems have got to be better--perhaps some of them remember as far back as Clinton, and KNOW it to be the case.

5. Last ditch effort. And a backhand acknowledgment of an *epic fail*.
The Republican party has backed itself into a narrow corner of its own making.

We remain a broad based, diverse party, poised to retake the White House and build our positions in the Congress.

Memo to the Republican party - you sell out your political souls at your own risk.

6. I'll take my chances
Total Republican rule totally fucked up this great nation. I know my Democrats can do a hell of a better job. :dem:

7. I seem to remember McCain back in 2002
before the elections, that having a Republican majority in congress was important, otherwise the president couldn't do his job, or something like that.

8. The Democrats should run ads showing him say this.
