PAYBACK TO LOCAL ROBO-CALL,...redial to the toll-free,...over and over and over and,....
I just received a ROBO, "Anne the plumber" calls on behalf of John McCain.

She gave me a toll free number (1-866-558-5591) to call.

I am redialing that cost of my time for "Anne the plumber" back at the "ROBO",...over and over and over, again.

I will say this: at least she wasn't screaming "terrorist" at me,...but, then again, that robo-call is likely aimed at the extremists these people want to appease.

Seriously, people,...isn't extremism getting on all of our nerves? "Passion is a reckless endeavor without burden of understanding".

Can't we ALL agree, for common sakes that, extremism AT HOME should be addressed before we can master extremism abroad?

Being an "American" does NOT make you, more valuable. NOTHING ABOUT YOU makes you more valuable,...as a human being (*LOL* whether you like it or not).

WHAT MAKES YOU VALUABLE (each and every one of us KNOW THIS) is how you made life a little better outside/beyond yourself.

ROBO-CALLS are not intended to respect me or push me. They are intended to manipulate me.

9. Apples and oranges...
somebody went to jail for jamming the Democratic Party phone lines on election day. Redialing a phone number from a call that comes into your home is not the same thing at all.

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire (CNN) -- Allen Raymond is living proof that political dirty tricksters do exist

The former Republican political operative went to federal prison after he pleaded guilty to charges of phone harassment. He jammed the phone lines of New Hampshire's Democratic Party on Election Day six years ago.

"The concept was to disrupt lines of communication. That's a fancy way of saying, 'make it so the phones didn't work,' " Raymond said recently. "No calls going out. No calls going in."

2. as far as their 866 no.
Edited on Tue Oct-28-08 07:52 PM by wtbymark
they probably got a deal on outgoing calls but not to much of one on incoming (because how many people are going to call back a robot)They pay a fee for all calls, but i bet the incoming calls are a little more pricey, plus 866 is toll free. My recommendation, tie up the lines, they did it in NH to us and it will probably cost em a penny or two :)

on edit: that was an organized effort by the republican party, me? im barely organized to put on clothes in the mornin'

6. I pay the phone bill for my company.
Our 800 number is just a flat fee, doesn't matter if there one incoming or outgoing or 1000 calls. If my little-bitty company has that kind of plan, I'm sure a big calling agency has a good deal.

10. a lot of times, when you call back on robo-sales calls, the number comes back as "non-working"
i still don't understand why that can be- i've even gotten the operator involved in the past.

13. Lines can be programmed in the switch to be outgoing only
or incoming only (so customers can call a businesses call center, but the attendants can't call out), or two-way.
